Encouragement?

How often do you give encouragement without correction? On the other hand, how often do you give correction without encouragement?

    I give encouragement without correction much more often than I do correction without encouragement. It's because I want people to like me. =/

    Interesting...I want people to like me to- but for me that means I'm long on correction and short on encouragement. That way people see that they are losers but clearly I am not. Not to mention that they see how helpful I am in correcting them and imparting my great wisdom to them.

    I guess we can err in all kinds of ways and with all kinds of twisted motives.
